Job Description
Serve customers by installing, inspecting and servicing crane systems and products. After an initial training period, you will be provided with the use of a company truck, all required tools and the initial cost of uniforms. Since J. Herbert Corporation serves the entire state of Florida, expect overnight travel about 3-6 nights/month.

Requirements

• Minimum 3-years crane technician experience (preferred)

• Valid driver's license, preferably Class A

• Travel 3-6 nights/month

• Knowledge of 3-phase motor control circuits

• Mechanical & electrical experience

• Safety oriented

• Ability to work at heights

• Ability to carry and work on ladders

• Ability to work independently

• Ability to analyze information

• Ability to maintain good client relationships

• Excellent communication skills

Duties

• Serve existing accounts and maintain rapport with customers by investigating complaints, troubleshooting breakdowns, identifying solutions, making repairs, performing preventive maintenance, conducting tests, suggesting improved methods and techniques, and recommending system improvements.

• Establish service by studying system requirements, ordering components and parts, completing installations and performing acceptance tests.

• Document service and installation actions by completing forms, reports, logs, and records.
