Patented Track Monorails

J. Herbert Corporation promotes the use of Acco-Louden® patented track for monorail systems due to its strength and long wear characteristics.

Acco-Louden® patented track and monorail fittings are available in a variety of configurations specially designed to meet span, load, and duty requirements.  The high carbon, high manganese track is custom engineered in accordance with customer job specifications and lay-out drawings.  Straight tracks are cut to exact length with all of the required holes in place as specified; curved track is machine bent at the factory.

Acco-Louden® monorail track is available in the following models:

602.6 Super Track™ is a high carbon, high manganese rolled steel shape ideal for non-electrified monorail and crane systems with capacities up to 2 tons.  The 2" wide flange is the operating / running flange, and the 3.33" wide flange is the suspension flange.

603.6 Super Track™ is a high carbon, high manganese rolled steel shape ideal for all types of motorized carriers.  The 3.33" wide flange is the operating / running flange and the 2" wide flange is the suspension flange.  The wider operating flange allows for the use of wide tread wheels and extra large bearings.

603.7 Super Track™ is a 603.6 track capped with a steel plate welded to the upper compression flange, thus allowing it to support heavier loads.  Note: Suspension of the 603.7 track must be done from the 603.6 section, and not from the capped material.

604 Super Track™ Girder is a 3 piece fabricated shape with a 3.33" operating flange continuously welded to a supporting web and top flange.  The 604 Super Track™ Girder is used where loads and building bay spans are too great to accommodate the standard Super Track. The beam strength reduces or eliminates the need for intermediate hangers.

605 Trojan Track™ Girder has the strongest operating flange of all specially rolled monorail track sections.  The girder web and top flange are fabricated from steel plates continuously welded to form the girder track section.  The operating flange design and composition results in a track capable of supporting large wheel loads under heavy-duty service while minimizing wear.
