Twin Hook Hoists

Twin hook hoists offer the benefit of a stable lift through the use of twin hooks that lift simultaneously.  They are also highly suitable for customization.  Applications requiring the lifting of long and bulky loads need the use of equipment capable of handling the oversize dimensions.  J. Herbert Corporation represents several brands in both manual hand chain and electric twin hook models.  Please consult our Customer Service Department to identify the hoist best suited for your application.

COFFING® TH models are available in capacities from 1/2 through 3 tons.  They incorporate a pair of CB Hand Chain Hoists mounted in tandem fashion with a standard spacing of 3 feet between hooks.  Other spacing is also available.  Features include an aluminum alloy housing, exclusive right angle Superoid® gearing for smooth chain travel, screw and disc load brake, and optional load limiter.

CHESTER® Zephyr Twin Hook models are available in capacities from 1/2 through 5 tons.  Standard hook spacing is 3 feet.  Other spacing and options are also available.  Typical components include a steel frame, fast acting Weston-type load brake, planetary gearing, and alloy steel load chain.

Electrolift® Twin Hook models are available in a variety of configurations and capacities.  Suspension alternatives include lug, plain, and motorized trolleys.  Overhead and floor mounted units are also fabricated.

Chester® Twin Hook models are manufactured with worm gear drive for smooth handling and dual hooks for two point support. They lend themselves to customization and are available with diverse suspensions such as manual, hand geared and motorized trolleys.  Floor and ceiling mounted models are also offered.
